Templates of Doom #2: Adidas Equipment V1 – European Clubs (Part 1)

Click here for the first instalment of Templates of Doom, which looked at every country to wear the Adidas Equipment V.1 template. For this round, since even POTP doesn’t have the time to check every club in the world, we’ve restricted it to Europe, but as you’ll see that’s still quite a lot of clubs. Therefore, like last time, this had to be broken up into three parts, listing the clubs by order of country. Click here for Part 2 or here for Part 3.

Usually we only use our own screenshots for all our posts, but the nature of this one meant we had to use some other images when we couldn’t find anything else. Credit to all original sources.

Clubs

In the list below, “Euro kit” indicates a shirt or kit with reduced branding or sponsorship due to continental competition rules, although not every club needed to do so such as Liverpool in 1991. For French clubs, “cup kit” refers to when all teams had to wear Adidas strips with certain sponsors for domestic cup competitions there. If a team wore two different Adidas Equipment shirts (eg, Sparta Prague going from red to maroon home shirts), the latter will be accompanied by “v2”, but Euro or cup kits do not count as being a next version. Other notes will appear along the way.
